Mumbai International Short Film Festival (MISFF), 2012, organized by Maxcity & Urban Realty Pvt. Ltd and Oculus Creations, is a 2 day film festival in celebration of 100 years of Indian Cinema, to promote young talent at an international forum.

MISFF is dedicated to presenting the best of Indian and international cinema to film lovers. MISFF is launched to transform the way people see the world through film and with an idea to inspire and encourage the creative minds and promote their talent at an international level. It provides an opportunity for aspiring enthusiasts to elevate their spirit and talent in the true sense.

MISFF aims to nurture, encourage and inspire Indian cinema and introduce it to the world outside, as well as, the many audiences that coexist in this vast and diverse country. With rapid technology changes, the importance of this festival will only grow as it will bring viewers and filmmakers together and expose them to the advancing technology and the challenges of the emerging new media.

MISFF aims at providing a common platform for the cinemas of the world to project the excellence of film art; contributing to the understanding and appreciation of film cultures of different nations in the context of their social and cultural ethos; promoting friendship and co-operation among the people of the world.

Two-day film festival offers screenings, festivals, lectures, discussions and seminars.

In celebration of completion of 100 years of Indian Cinema, we aim to provide a common platform for young and aspiring filmmakers to showcase their talent in front of renowned audience. Our festival of 2 days will show screenings of short films, documentaries, animation films, public service ads and music videos from Indian and foreign participants. Besides screening, MISFF gives a chance to attend lectures, seminars, workshops and talks on cinema along with networking opportunities from cinematic connoisseurs, for all who wish to get a deep-rooted understanding of the silver screen and events that happen behind it. MISFF aims to give prominence to the amateurs to expose their talent and take a step forward in the cinematic world.

Our vision is to bring together many audiences from different sects, exposure of new technology, exchange of knowledge and to promote friendship and co-operation among the world. It aims at prospering the understanding of cinema and its role in the society

New interactions are envisaged; new strategies would be formulated so that with each edition of MISFF, the viewing experience is enhanced, enlarged and enriched.
